Lowe hints at Woodwards role for Saints

Southampton chairman Rupert Lowe has dropped his first hint that he may be ready to offer former England rugby union coach Clive Woodward a way into football.

Woodward resigned his post yesterday amid increasing speculation he wants to cross over into the more lucrative world of soccer and his friendship with Lowe means he has been linked with a move to the Saints in some capacity.
