Dyer apologises to Robson
Newcastle midfielder Kieron Dyer has apologised for his refusal to play where manager Bobby Robson wanted him to in last Saturday’s Barclays Premiership clash with Middlesbrough.
The 25-year-old, who was booed by sections of the crowd at St James’ Park when he appeared as a half-time substitute in England’s 3-0 victory over Ukraine last night, issued a statement after meeting club officials today.
