Nunez agent confirms Reds deal

Antonio Nunez’s agent has confirmed the Real Madrid midfielder is in talks with Liverpool.

The 25-year-old is expected to be part of the deal which takes Liverpool striker Michael Owen to the Bernabeu but Jose Antonio Martin Perton revealed Reds boss Rafael Benitez was already in negotiations to sign Nunez, irrespective of Owen’s potential move to Spain.
