Roddy planning further Vikings invasion

Dublin City manager Roddy Collins has promised more new signings as he plots the Vikings’ bid for Premier Division survival.

Collins, whose side are eight points adrift at the foot of the league table, is set to hand debuts to four new signings tonight for the home Tolka Park clash with fellow strugglers Derry City but he said more new arrivals were imminent.

"I expect to announce some more signings in the next few days,” Collins said. “We are going in the right direction and the squad is very positive about what we have to do.

“I've added some genuine quality and expect more to come in the immediate future. I've identified the problems with the team and I've brought in the right calibre of player who will serve this club well in the coming months."
