Eagles land Dowie on new four-year deal
Crystal Palace manager Iain Dowie has committed himself to a new four-year contract with the London club.
The deal is recognition for Dowie’s fantastic work since taking charge at Selhurst Park.
He led the Eagles from the First Division relegation battle to the play-offs and ultimately a place in the Premiership in his first half-season in charge.
Chairman Simon Jordan told the club’s official, website www.cpfc.co.uk: “Following our play-off final victory over West Ham, the club has been extremely busy on all fronts to ensure that we are properly prepared for the challenge of the Premiership.
“Our first task was to secure the primary assets of the business; namely our players and management team.
“To that end, the following deals have been concluded – Iain Dowie, John Harbin, Kit Symons and Mike Kelly have all agreed new four-year deals.”
