Southampton defender Stephen Crainey is having talks with Leeds over a possible £200,000 (€300,000) move to crisis-hit club.

The former Celtic man flew to Leeds this morning for a medical and discussions.

The Elland Road club hope a deal will go through in time for him to be on the bench in their opening Championship clash with Derby tomorrow.
