Friedel to miss Rovers' pre-season

Blackburn goalkeeper Brad Friedel will miss the rest of the club’s pre-season preparations.

The 33-year-old American suffered a thigh muscle injury in Friday’s friendly win over Czech side Bohemians Prague and had to be substituted.
