Arsenal’s new Spanish keeper Manuel Almunia has revealed that he developed his reflexes risking his life in the famous ’Running of the Bulls’ in his home town of Pamplona – but the 27-year-old has promised to the Gunners that his daredevil days are now behind him.

Almunia, who was virtually unknown outside Spain when signed for Arsenal on Wednesday, has already targeted Jens Lehmann’s place in the first team.
