Shelbourne have been drawn against Icelandic side Reykjavik FC in the first qualifying round of the Champions League.

Shelbourne have been drawn against Icelandic side Reykjavik FC in the first qualifying round of the Champions League.

The draw was made in Switzerland this morning.

Shels, eircom league champions and current league leaders, will face Hadjuk Split of Croatia if they can overcome the Icelanders.

Meanwhile Irish League side Linfield will face HJK Helsinki of Finland. The winners of that tie will play Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel.

The draw for the UEFA Cup, which features Bohemians and Longford, is being made later on.
