Report: Voller steps down

Rudi Voller has resigned as Germany coach after his side’s meek exit from Euro 2004, according to reports in the German media.

The 44-year-old, who lifted the World Cup for his country as a player in 1990, unexpectedly guided Germany to the 2002 World Cup final, where they were beaten by Brazil.
