Hargreaves set to start for England

Owen Hargreaves is poised to start only his third international for England since the 2002 World Cup finals after injuries to the midfield duo of Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt.

Butt’s tournament is effectively over after a scan revealed medial ligament damage in his right knee which is likely to sideline him for three to four weeks.
