Terry gets England deadline

Sven-Goran Eriksson has set John Terry a deadline of Friday to prove his fitness for this weekend’s opening group game against France.

While the England coach is still hopeful Terry will recover in time from a hamstring injury, he insisted that he would not risk losing him for the entire tournament.
