Kerr makes five changes to face Holland
Manager Brian Kerr made five changes for his Republic of Ireland team’s final friendly before the summer break.
Missing from the team who beat Jamaica in the Unity Cup on Wednesday were Paddy Kenny, John O’Shea, Gary Doherty, Mark Kinsella and Alan Lee.
In came Shay Given, Steve Finnan, Kenny Cunningham, Matt Holland and Robbie Keane.
This was the final game for the Dutch before taking part in Euro 2004 and their star studded line-up in the magnificent Amsterdam Arena included Ruud van Nistelrooy, Patrick Kluivert, Jaap Stam, Edgar Davids and Rafael van der Vaart.
