Kilkenny City have beaten Monaghan United while Cobh Ramblers have drawn with Sligo Rovers tonight.

Despite being reduced to 10 men - when Phillip Gorman was sent off after 60 minutes - Kilkenny scored through Barry Wood on 81 minutes for victory.
