United enjoy half-time lead against Millwall

Cristiano Ronaldo guided home a 43rd-minute header to reward Manchester United’s dominance in their FA Cup final with Millwall.

Ronaldo had already lit up the Millennium Stadium with his skills and it was the young Portuguese international who produced the killer blow when Gary Neville floated a right-wing cross into the area.

First Division Millwall struggled to make any headway and player-boss Dennis Wise appeared to lose the plot in stoppage time when he became involved in a prolonged penalty box tussle with Paul Scholes which could easily have cost his team a spot-kick.
