Millwall wait for word from the Wise

Millwall remain hopeful that player-manager Dennis Wise will recover from his leg injury in time to face Manchester United in the FA Cup final at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday.

Wise returned from treatment by a specialist masseur in Italy to join his team-mates in Cardiff on Thursday night and a late decision will be taken on his fitness.

The Lions are already without suspended striker Danny Dichio, injured skipper Kevin Muscat (knee ligaments), and midfielder Andy Roberts (knee).
