United dismiss three young players

Manchester United are to release three of their young players on June 30.

Goalkeepers Ben Williams and James Jowsey, plus striker Neil Wood will all leave Old Trafford after failing to break into the first-team picture.

Williams was on the bench for the opening five games of last season but this year was sent out on loan to Crewe, while Wood was an unused substitute for the Coca-Cola Cup defeat at West Brom in December.
