Wenger pleads for FA Cup switch

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is lobbying to have the date of the FA Cup semi-finals changed – to ensure English teams are not handicapped in the Champions League next season.

And he insisted he would play a virtual reserve side in the FA Cup semi-finals next season if his first team are again facing a Champions League quarter-final a few days later.
