Kirkland 'gutted' by latest injury setback

Chris Kirkland has revealed his anguish at seeing another season wrecked by injury and his chance of a place in England’s Euro 2004 squad ruined.

Kirkland has not recovered sufficiently from a broken wrist to play again this season, and Liverpool have made it clear he will not be fit enough for England duty.
