Bohs staged a remarkable comeback from two goals down to salvage a point with a stoppage time penalty equaliser.

Skipper Kevin Hunt was the man with the nerves of steal as he shot home the spot kick after Trevor Croly had handled.

Stephen Rice began Bohs' revival when heading home on 73 minutes from Fergal Harkin’s cross.

Rovers ran up a 2-0 lead by 52 minutes.

Their captain Terry Palmer flicked home a Keith O’Halloran free kick for the first on the half hour.

Ex-Bohs' defender Jason McGuinness then added the second with a header.
