Rooney returns

Everton will have Wayne Rooney back from suspension for tomorrow’s trip to Leeds but his one-time England colleague Francis Jeffers is now officially consigned to a state of soccer limbo.

Jeffers will not figure again for Everton this season after a row with boss David Moyes, and will be sent back to Arsenal when his loan ends on June 1.

Moyes will also be without defender Alan Stubbs at Leeds (groin) while Kevin Campbell (illness) is very doubtful but veteran David Weir is also back from suspension, although reserve defender Peter Clarke still has two more matches to serve of his ban.
