Ten-man Longford earn draw at Rovers

John Martin hit a late equaliser to save the blushes of team-mate Graham Gartland.

Defender Gartland was sent off for a tackle from behind on Trevor Molloy on 36 minutes.

Rovers then took control and went in front on 65 minutes when skipper Terry Palmer headed home a Shame Robinson corner.

But Town finished strongly and levelled on 79 minutes, Martin blasting to the roof of the net after Alan Kirby’s free-kick wasn’t cleared.
