Dalglish ready to back Darlington takeover

Liverpool and Scotland legend Kenny Dalglish is ready to add his weight to the bid to save Darlington.

Dalglish, a close friend of Quakers manager David Hodgson, admitted he would support the proposed takeover by the Sterling Consortium – with a place on the board a possibility.
