Craig Bellamy and Kieron Dyer handed Newcastle boss Bobby Robson a major boost when both declared themselves fit to face Real Mallorca in the UEFA Cup fourth round tonight.

Bellamy, who limped out of last week’s clash with Valerenga at half-time with a hamstring problem, was able to play while Dyer, missing last Wednesday with a similar injury, replaced Darren Ambrose.

French full-back Olivier Bernard returned after suspension with Jonathan Woodgate, who has been unwell earlier in the week, dropping to the bench where he was joined by reserve keeper Tony Caig and Shola Ameobi.

Mallorca boss Luis Aragones made no fewer than nine changes to the side which lost 3-2 in La Liga at Barcelona on Sunday with only dangermen Alejandro Campano and Samuel Eto’o surviving and veteran defender Miguel Angel Nadal having to make do with a seat on the bench.
