Stead to make home debut for Rovers

Jon Stead is expected to make his first appearance at Ewood Park for Blackburn against Newcastle tomorrow.

Stead scored on his debut against Middlesbrough and he and fellow striker Paul Gallagher should keep their place in the starting line-up.

Blackburn boss Graeme Souness may make changes in midfield in an attempt to provide more creativity.

Norwegian midfielder Martin Andresen is included in the first team squad for the first time since joining on loan last month.
