Bellamy ready for start against Rovers

Craig Bellamy could be ready to be unleashed on the Premiership in earnest when Newcastle head for Blackburn on Wednesday night.

The 24-year-old, whose absence through injury two seasons ago cost Newcastle what chance they had of sustaining their surprise title challenge, is fast approaching the point where he is mentally, as well as physically, right to return to the starting line-up.
