Desailly calls on Santini to forgive Anelka

Marcel Desailly has given a cautious welcome to the news that Nicolas Anelka wants to settle his differences with coach Jacques Santini and secure a return to the national team.

Although the France captain is keen for his former team-mate to launch an international comeback, he noted that Anelka had been very critical of Santini when he was last invited to represent his country.
