Duncan Ferguson is no racist: Dooley

Duncan Ferguson’s adviser has rubbished claims the Everton striker made racist remarks to Fulham’s Luis Boa Morte.

Duncan Ferguson’s adviser has rubbished claims the Everton striker made racist remarks to Fulham’s Luis Boa Morte.

Portuguese striker Boa Morte wants the Football Association to investigate alleged racial abuse during last Sunday’s FA Cup clash, which ended 1-1.

The replay is at Loftus Road on Wednesday.

However, Ferguson’s adviser Kevin Dooley told the Daily Mirror: “The suggestion is ludicrous. Anyone who knows Duncan knows he would not get involved in anything like that.

“Duncan would just not stoop to something like this. He is straight with people and simply would not get involved, no matter what the state of the game.

“We refute the allegation completely. There is no truth in it whatsoever.”
