UEFA have upheld the five-match ban imposed on French forward Djibril Cisse who now looks certain to miss the Euro 2004 tournament.

UEFA have upheld the five-match ban imposed on French forward Djibril Cisse who now looks certain to miss the Euro 2004 tournament.

The verdict means that France coach Jacques Santini will almost certainly not include the Auxerre forward in his squad for Euro 2004 as he would only be available for the final.
