Ehiogu doubtful for Highbury Cup tie

Middlesbrough’s Ugo Ehiogu is a major doubt for tomorrow’s FA Cup fourth round clash with Arsenal.

The England international is rated at only 50-50 after aggravating a groin problem during the 1-0 Carling Cup semi-final victory at Highbury in midweek, leaving manager Steve McClaren with a major headache after Gareth Southgate and Colin Cooper were both ruled out with hamstring injuries.

Brazilian midfielder Doriva is suspended and Jonathan Greening (tonsils), Malcolm Christie (broken leg) and Carlo Nash (finger) remain on the casualty list.
