Poyet still out of Spurs picture

Tottenham will again be without the suspended Gustavo Poyet for Sunday’s FA Cup clash at Manchester City.

The veteran midfielder started a three-match ban last weekend following his straight red card in the third-round win over Crystal Palace.

New signing Michael Brown is not cup-tied and looks set to continue in midfield following a solid debut for Spurs in the 2-1 win over Liverpool.

Portugal striker Helder Postiga deputised for Frederic Kanoute, away on African Nations Cup duty, against the Reds and should play alongside Robbie Keane again after finding the net last week.

Dean Richards, Jamie Redknapp and Christian Ziege are all making progress, but are not yet fit enough to return.
