Rooney meets league representatives

FAI CEO Fran Rooney described today’s meeting with eircom League representatives as “very positive and constructive”.

The league representatives met for over three hours with FAI CEO Fran Rooney and Honorary Treasurer John Delaney.

Rooney said the meeting discussed a range of interesting and innovative issues and committed to the development of a blueprint for further discussion.

“It was a very productive session and the level of debate and discussion bodes well for a very constructive path forward” he added.

The group agreed to meet again next week to progress discussions.
