Birmingham join race for Butt

Birmingham have stepped up their interest in want-away Manchester United midfielder Nicky Butt, reports The Sun and Daily Mirror.

The Sun claims boss Steve Bruce will offer £3m (€4.3m) but the Mirror believes that bid is more likely to be £5m (€7.2m).
