Ireland to play Brazil in friendly
FAI chief Fran Rooney has announced that the Republic of Ireland will start its friendly fixtures for 2004 with a game against Brazil at Lansdowne Road on February 18.
“We’re delighted to be able to bring the world champions to Dublin in February following detailed discussions. It’s a fantastic match to look forward to and kicks off the 2004 fixtures with the most attractive proposition in world soccer," Mr Rooney said today.
