Schwarzer bidding to prove fitness

Middlesbrough goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer has a 50-50 chance of returning at Arsenal after a back injury.

Gaizka Mendieta (virus), Jonathan Greening (back) and Michael Ricketts (knee) are ruled out.
