Gunners plan to snuff out Beattie

Arsene Wenger today detailed the tactical masterplan he believes will nullify Southampton danger man James Beattie and ensure the Gunners’ unbeaten league record stretches into 2004.

High-flying Arsenal, who face Southampton at St Mary’s tonight, have racked up 12 wins and six draws from their first 18 Barclaycard Premiership fixtures this season.
