Blackburn offer Israeli trial

Israeli international defender Tal Ben Haim is to have a trial with Blackburn after Christmas with a view to possibly signing at the end of the season.

The 21-year-old, captain of club side Maccabi Tel Aviv, has been recommended to Graeme Souness by Manchester City’s Eyal Berkovic and will be out of contract in the summer.
