Trio out for Man City

Manchester City will be without David Seaman, Sun Jihai and Paulo Wanchope for tomorrow’s Carling Cup tie with Tottenham.

Seaman has not recovered from the rib and hamstring injuries which kept him out of Sunday’s Premiership defeat against Middlesbrough, while Sun (hamstring) and Wanchope (knee) have both been rested.

Michael Tarnat will travel south even though he is not fully fit, while Stephen Jordan has also been added to Kevin Keegan’s squad.
