Soccer giants Shamrock Rovers and basketball giants Notre Dame are to link up, it was revealed today.
From November 14, Notre Dame Basketball club will be renamed as Shamrock Rovers Basketball Club (Hoops).
This association is a first in Irish sport and a further effort by both codes to cement their position within the local South County Dublin Community.
