Inter Milan sack manager

Hector Cuper, who guided Valencia to two successive Champions League finals, has been sacked by Inter Milan after a dreadful start to the season.

He took them to the semi-finals of the Champions League last year but a derby defeat to AC Milan and a draw with Brescia sealed his fate.

Corrado Verdelli will be in charge for their European match with Lokomotiv Moscow with Alberto Zaccaroni, who won Serie A with AC Milan and also coached Lazio, set to take the full time job.
