Borussia Monchengladbach have repeated their desire to sign Mikael Forssell from Chelsea during the winter transfer window.

The Finland international is currently on loan at Birmingham City but had a successful loan stint with Monchengladbach last year and helped the once-mighty club avoid relegation with seven goals in 16 appearances.
