Simpson appointed Carlisle boss

Carlisle have confirmed Paul Simpson has been appointed full-time manager at Brunton Park.

The former Rochdale player-manager has been at the club since last month in a caretaker capacity following the departure of Dubliner Roddy Collins, the former Bohemians manager.
