Kevin Campbell and Li Tie both made their comebacks after injury in a 2-1 Everton reserves win over Sunderland last night, but neither are expected to be involved in Sunday’s home Premiership clash with Leeds.

Campbell (hamstring) scored and played a full 90 minutes, while Li Tie also returned after a lengthy foot injury.

Francis Jeffers is struggling with a back problem while goalkeepers Richard Wright (knee) and Steve Simonsen (thigh) are still out, as is Scot Gemmill (thigh).

Boss David Moyes has Duncan Ferguson – after three goals in two games - pushing for a place up front along with James McFadden. But both have to get past Wayne Rooney and Tomasz Radzinski.

Provisional squad: Martyn, Pistone, Hibbert, Yobo, Unsworth, Weir, Stubbs, Naysmith, Gravesen, Linderoth, Watson, McFadden, Carsley, Ferguson, Rooney, Radzinski, Kilbane, Chadwick, Jeffers, Turner.
