Manchester United goalkeeper Roy Carroll and Hibernian defender Colin Murdock rejoined Northern Ireland squad today.

They were both due to take part in a training session ahead of the Euro 2004 qualifier against Armenia on Wednesday having been ruled out of the spirited 0-0 draw in Ukraine because of back and hamstring injuries respectively.

Manager Sammy McIlroy will have to make one enforced change to the team to meet Armenia.

Midfielder Michael Hughes is suspended and that could mean a recall for Norwich’s Phil Mulryne.

Northern Ireland aim to chalk up their first victory in Group Six on Wednesday after successive draws against Ukraine and Spain.
