Shels face Slovenia in UEFA Cup

Shelbourne are in Slovenia to play Olimpija Ljubljana in the UEFA Cup tonight.

The Dublin club are eager to erase the memory of last season’s Champions League exit when they lost to Hibernians of Malta.

Manager Pat Fenlon said: “It will be difficult over there and the heat must be a real concern.

“I’m sure we can very much keep the tie alive and then complete the job at Tolka Park.”
