Glen Johnson will today join up with his new Chelsea team-mates as the first part of Roman Abramovich’s championship jigsaw.

The England Under-21 international jetted off to the Blues’ pre-season training camp in Italy after putting pen to paper on a five-year contract yesterday following his £6m (€8.6m) move from West Ham.
