Hughes 'flattered' but not interested in United

Wales manager Mark Hughes admits he is “flattered” at being linked with a return to Manchester United but he will not walk away from his national team job.

Alex Ferguson’s former number two at Old Trafford Carlos Queiroz was reported as claiming that United wanted to lure Hughes back to his former club.

But Hughes told the BBC Sport website: “It is extremely flattering to have your name linked with jobs.

“But the facts of the matter are that I am Wales manager, I’ve started a job here and I want to see it through.”
