Numan may make Rangers return
Arthur Numan could be set for a return to Rangers just over three weeks after an emotional farewell to Ibrox supporters.
The former Holland international is poised to sign a short-term deal with the club before finally leaving for America in January.
Numan said his goodbyes to the fans following the Tennent’s Scottish Cup final win over Dundee on May 31 after rejecting a new deal to stay at the club.
But, after failing to find a new club, the 33-year-old may be ready to sign for half a season according to his agent, Joop Korevaar.
He told The Daily Record: “At first, Arthur said no to Rangers, but it is now possible he will go back.
“Hopefully he can sign for six months before fulfilling his dream of playing in America.
“The deal would be beneficial to both parties as Arthur’s experience would be big help to Rangers in the Champions League.
“I’m waiting to hear back from Rangers, but I’m hopeful something can be sorted next week.”
