UEFA launch violence probe

UEFA today launched an investigation into the crowd trouble during the match between England’s Group 7 rivals Turkey and Macedonia.

Numerous missiles were thrown on to the pitch during last night’s Euro 2004 qualifier in Istanbul, which Turkey won 3-2.
