Ruud van Nistelrooy has kept Manchester United's hopes alive, equalising just before half-time in tonight's Champions League quarter-final with Real Madrid.

The Dutchman poked home after 43 minutes as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer pushed the ball across the goal.
